Talks

Talks about composers, interesting features in the compositions to be heard, or helpful introductions to the modern works may take place before a concert. These are usually given by a professional music lecturer. They are free, but there is a retiring collection for voluntary contributions towards the cost (£3 suggested).​

There will be a pre-concert talk by Roy Stratford at 6.30pm in the church hall : 'Intimate Letters - an introduction to Janacek’s Second Quartet'. (The work will be performed that evening by the Fibonacci Quartet.)
