Spiritato is a period instrument ensemble with a love for little-known composers, as illustrated in this stunning programme. As individuals they can be found performing with specialist ensembles throughout the UK and Europe, including the Academy of Ancient Music, the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment, Les Talens Lyriques and the Orchestre Révolutionnaire et Romantique.
Their British performances have received 4-star reviews from the Financial Times, Early Music Today, Bachtrack and BBC Music Magazine, resulting in tours of Southwest France, performances at the European Early Music Network showcase, appearances at RSI (Swiss-Italian radio), Rai Radio 3 (Italy) and their CD 'Primo Movimento', reviewed on Radio 3.
Tonight they are joined by mezzo-soprano Ciara Henrick.
Spiritato's latest recording, 'The Taste of this Nation', was released in February 2021.
Concert kindly supported by the OCMS Patrons
