The Pelléas Ensemble was formed at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama.   In 2015 they won First Prize at the British Harp Chamber Music Competition, and also won First Prize at the Beckenham Music Festival.

The Ensemble’s repertoire spans the centuries from Bach, Rameau, Leclair, Debussy, Ravel, Ibert and Prokofiev to William Matthias and Richard Rodney Bennett.  They are dedicated to performing new music, and have recently commissioned Misha Mullov-Abbado and Joe Steele to write them two new works, due to be premiered at St. John’s Smith Square and the Two Moors Festival, respectively.

They were selected to represent the Guildhall School of Music at the City of London Festival, and have given numerous recitals at other venues across London. They have established a reputation for performing their recitals from memory – they believe this creates an immediate and more intimate connection with their audiences.
