" A FOUR STAR CONCERT FROM THE BEGINNING..........."    -(BBC Prom)  The Times, 27.7. 2011

Formed in 1998, at the Royal Northern College, this group of exceptionally talented artists, honed their skills as part of Ensemble 360 as resident String Quartet at Sheffield’s “Music in the Round,” taking over from the Lindsay Quartet.

BBC Music Magazine – “Newcomer of the Year, 2010”

In 2009 they were selected to join the prestigious BBC. New Generation Scheme, which, since it’s inception 12 years ago, has provided more than 80 of the world’s best young , talented, international soloists and groups with a wide-ranging programme of broadcast and performance opportunities over a two-year period.

Sunday Times- “The best young quartet ….in years…Clarity, economy, lyrical decisiveness, faultless technique.”

Their music has taken them across Europe, where they have performed in London, Paris, Stockholm, Amsterdam, to America and Boston’s Jordan Hall, to Australia, and performances in Sydney, Melbourne, Perth and Adelaide. Next year, their schedule will include, (apart from the many British and continental concerts), performances in Philadelphia, Vancouver, The Library of Congress, (Washington), and Carnegie Hall in New York.

Independent- “Sophisticated phrasing, subtle colouring"

They are joined for this concert, by Malin Broman, of the Kungsbacka Trio, and formerly, the Nash Ensemble, for a performance of the Mozart G minor String Quintet.
